Shaped by a busy few months & some great feedback, the scanning system initially released has been given a fresh new design & rebuild.
Never lose track of your gear again. The updated scanning workspace makes preparing equipment and checking returns easier to follow. With this update, no assets or scan progress has been removed or altered, just upgraded :D
Choose suppliers, review an automatically prepared booking request, and send each one their own Gear List PDF - without leaving the job.
GigGoblin uses saved supplier details, remembers supplier preferences, and keeps the exact email and attachment in delivery history. Missing email addresses can be added in the same window.
This version of the scanning system is still, lightly, in development. We’re still refining it, and welcome any and all feedback.

You can now save reusable sets of equipment as flexible or locked kits and add the complete setup to a job at once.
Combine commonly hired assets into a kit, then add the whole setup to a job through Add equipment. Flexible kits can be adjusted for a job, while locked kits keep their contents together.
Availability, scanning and gear lists all account for the included assets, with each item keeping its normal pricing.

You can now track consumable stock by quantity and add one-off, untracked assets directly to a job.
Create consumable asset types for stock that gets used up-such as tape, batteries or cable ties. Record restocks and adjustments, assign the required quantity to a job, and charge for it using per-unit pricing.
Consumable sales, costs and gross profit are also included in reporting.
Need something for one job that isn't in your asset catalogue? Add a temporary asset directly to the job with its own name, source business, hired quantity, spare quantity and notes.
Temporary assets aren't stock-tracked, but they appear on gear lists and relevant client, supplier or partner exports. Items sourced from a linked partner can also follow the normal request and approval workflow.
